Randall Group Building Works for Education Department

A major building renovation to a Western brick wall at Inverell Public School was recently completed by the Randall Group building team.

Inverell Public School wanted to address a small structural issue that dated back quite a few years. Gardens surrounding this building, soil instability and drainage were contributing factors to the need for these works.

Building structure

Local firm LEGS completed engineering specs and Randall Group successfully tendered for the job. Major foundation works and demolition commenced in April, including extensive pipe work for effective water drainage around the building.

Hand picked brickwork

The Randall Group team had a brick supplier hand-pick bricks to match the existing 60 year old brickwork.

Asbestos Removal

A small patch of asbestos found on an outside gable wall in the Special Ed unit was removed out of hours to minimise disruption to the school.

Painting

All fascias and downpipes were painted to match the existing paintwork.
